You
can access many sources of advice and information on filing a complaint
about or to a financial organisation via the Money and Professional
Services section of this site. The industry is regulated by
ombudsmen and complaints can be referred to them if you have been
unable to resolve your complaint with the relevant organisation.
If
you know the name of the organisation you wish to complain
to, you can access information by using the 'complain to'
box at the top left of this page. You will be presented with the
complaints procedure page for financial organisations, as well as
links to a variety of sources that can offer extra advice or help
if you need it. From this page you will also be able to make a complaint
online.
If you are not sure of the name of the
organisation the Money and Professional Services section
provides the opportunity to browse the complaints procedures relevant
to organisations who provide these services, including the ombudsmen.
You can gain access to complaints procedures pages by clicking on
the nformation
point next to the subsector (found within the Money
and Professional Services section), that is most relevant to
your complaint.
As
with all issues, you can contact your local Trading
Standards office and Citizen's
Advice Bureau for advice and information if you are unsure about
what action to take.
